Why you began Personal Training?

I developed a love for personal training while participating in college athletics as both a nationally recognized basketball and softball player. I love helping individuals lose weight, tone up and achieve goals they never thought possible!

Your Philosophy or Approach to Training?

My approach to training goes beyond the individual workout session. I like to educate my clients on how to live a balanced, healthy lifestyle while still achieving their goals. I also try to help my clients through daily challenges that impede goal achievement with guidance and support.

My approach to life and training is “successful people do what unsuccessful people aren’t willing to do!”

Hobbies, Spare Time, Interests?

Working out, Softball, Beach Volleyball, Running, Biking, Snowboarding, Hiking, Spending time with my husband, dogs and good friends, and Home Improvement projects.

Other (anything you think you’d like on there)?

I have competed in fitness figure competitions and am currently involved in fitness modeling. I have experience training fitness figure competitors and models as well.I also have the privilege of participating in a ten-week national study and infomercial called the “Supertrack 2000”. I am also a freelance writer focusing on health and fitness topics. Most recently published in the April 2010 edition of Volleyball Magazine.
